I'm partly interested, in an intellectual sense that is, in the relationship between the experimental and the pop. As a result of an Antipodean architectural education, I also have a habit of declaring - like it was of any concern to anyone - what I am interested in. I am also interested in British pop and house music.
I sometimes wonder what the etymological derivation of the term 'house' is when used to describe music as 'house music'. Is it a reference to the relationship between soul music and Christianity i.e. His house? If it is I would be pretty unhappy about that.
I am also interested in searching for some sort of cohesive, post-Post-Modern philosophy (refer to th
e previous post); one that might include, amongst other things, honesty (hence the deliberate inclusion of mixing mistakes in the following mix), progressiveness, individuality, communal-individualism, subliming, creativity and tone.
I also am not sure if the track list is correct so I have used '???' as an expression of the yet-to-be confirmed nature of each listing...
